Wade Barrett was a main-eventer at one point. Yes, its hard to believe but true. As the leader of The Nexus, he had several high-profile matches with John Cena and Randy Orton at multiple pay-per-views. Had WWEs booking of him not been so atrocious since then, hed still be a top guy. Management has felt hed be better suited as a jobber, a bare-knuckle brawler and a man who delivers news that isnt very good. Despite getting over with his BNB character, hes not getting any sort of in-ring credibility to take him to the next level. Instead hes now become the host of a news segment that isnt very newsworthy or funny. It only exists because WWE is obsessed with TMZ. On the bottom of the screen a crawl runs by that just repeats the same three stories over and over again, none of them which are really amusing. Something about a nursing home and an escaped monkey. Meh. Thats all they got? So not only is WWEs writing bad, but its also just plain lazy!
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
