If youre not HHH, Stephanie McMahon or John Cena, it often feels that you simply dont matter in WWE. Sting makes his shocking debut at Survivor Series? He was barely mentioned the next night on Raw. Daniel Bryan announces his return to wrestling in a truly great segment? Not talked about the next week. Its crazy that the most over babyface on the roster in 2013, and the first few months of 2014 isnt important enough to have his return hyped two episodes in a row. Batista got weeks worth of vignettes hyping his return, but not his fellow WrestleMania main-eventer. WWE is dropping the ball on, well, pretty much everything these days, but theyre doing a horrendous job at making their wrestlers feel like stars. Within the course of three hours you'd think they could find some time to talk about Daniel Bryan coming back. But that would mean we wouldnt have got 45 minutes worth of The Authority, and the announcers goofing off all night like usual. Speaking of which...
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
