WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Jan 29)

4. Date Night

Braxton Sutter and Laurel Van Ness went on a date this week in a restaurant that had a giant blue curtain. That was the entire decorating scheme of the establishment that was likely shot in the back of Universal Studios. Was there no actual restaurants that would let them come in for an hour? There had to have at least been an Arby's nearby. That seriously would have been a better choice, because at least that would have looked realistic.

Allie and Maria have been among the most entertaining acts on Impact over the past few months, but they were left off TV this week which left the secondary characters to carry along the story. Unfortunately neither of them is that good at acting, so this wasn't a great decision. The material they were asked to deliver wasn't that good either, and the whole thing was one big, cheesy mess.

However, there was one couples' outing this week that went even worse. We'll get to that shortly.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
