WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Jan 29)

2. The Rawley Rumble

Having Mojo Rawley win a battle royal to get into the Royal Rumble was less of a feel good moment, and more of a reminder of how depleted the SmackDown roster is.

Maybe some fans out there find Mojo endearing. He's like a big puppy who never stops jumping up and down when you get home. For others, ("others" meaning at least myself and maybe a few more people) he's one of the most obnoxious wrestlers of this era. He won a match that featured Fandango, The Ascension and The Vaudevillians. Is that even an accomplishment? He could have probably stood in the middle of the ring and everyone would have somehow thrown themselves out anyway.

His win kind of feels like when Hideo Itami earned the opportunity to participate in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, and then was tossed out without really doing anything. We know Rawley isn't going to do anything in the match either. He's just going to run around, jump up and down and get knocked out by the returning Doink The Clown. Then we'll all have a good laugh.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
