WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (July 20)
2. Its Sting! Its Sting!... In Videogame Form
The developers of the upcoming videogame 2K15 did a pretty sweet job of putting together the Sting video on Raw. It was well shot, mysterious and subsequently received a healthy dose of boos from the crowd. This is because fans were hoping for the real deal. They wanted Sting in person. Once it was apparent that he wasnt going to be showing up they were none too pleased. The Stinger seems to have some cold feet these days. Week after week the rumors of him signing with WWE pop up, but nothing ever comes of it. Recently he teased us with a "7.14.14" posting on Twitter, and it was all for a videogame reveal, which the majority of the audience will never even play. You mean Ill only have to spend $60 on a game, and have to pre-order before I know its any good to play as Sting from 1992 so I can fight El Torito in an I Quit match? Where do I sign up?
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
