The last words we heard on Raw this week before they went off the air was a line from the lyrics to Chris Jerichos theme song, Youre waking from a deep sleep. That felt strangely fitting, since the show put me in a deep sleep that was hard to wake up from!

John Cena vs. A.J. Styles should be one of the biggest matches of the decade, but the show that is building towards that showdown appears to be malfunctioning on nearly every possible level.

Elsewhere this week in professional wrestling, we witnessed Matt Hardy basically give up, and decide that barking into a camera for 30 seconds would make for compelling television. In WWE, the talent that got the biggest push this week was their production truck. Speculation has begun on whether it will debut on Raw or SmackDown, and whether it will go over Darren Young or The Shining Stars first.

Congratulations are in order to Bobby Lashley for winning the TNA title at Slammiversary. Congrats to Gail Kim for being inducted into their hall of fame. And congrats to Billy Corgan for becoming a minority owner in the company. What percent of the negative tens of millions of dollars that the company has made does he get?

Well, lets not waste any more time. Get ready to slowly ascend that ladder, grab the gold briefcase, and cash in on WWE and TNAs worst of the week!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
