Poor Kane and Big Show. I mean, kind of. Had both of them retired five years ago, I dont think WWE TV would have been any worse off (well, minus Team Hell No). But these guys are pretty close to the end of their careers, theyre both former main-eventers, and theyre stuck in another meaningless Mania match. Just let them go Vince. Let them be free! Will The Big Show win the Andre the Giant Battle Royal? Will anyone care if he does or does not? Asking what Jim Neidhart had for dinner is probably a more interesting question. With Mania a week out, only seven participants have been announced for the battle royal, four of which are The Social Outcasts. On Steve Austins podcast, Big Show complained that his booking hasnt been very good over the course of his career. Its nice that he realizes that. Perhaps someone in WWE was upset by him saying that, so they made him look dumber than ever by having him hug Kane, then turn his back to him as he played to the crowd. If he didnt know he was about to be attacked from behind, then hes never watched professional wrestling.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
