WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (March 15)

6. Sting€™s Voice

For the first time ever in an official WWE storyline, we heard The Man They Call Sting speak. Except for it was not The Man at all. Well, kind of? For some reason, WWE went through the trouble of having Steve Borden record a voiceover for a video package, and then decided to slow down his voice to make it more menacing (I guess?), but left it unrecognizable in the process. WWE likes to do stupid things on occasion, because they think no one pays attention to anything. But it€™s not like people don€™t know what Sting sounds like. WCW Nitro is on the Network! Heck, the man was in another promotion for a good decade acting like The Joker, which over that time millions of people had seen and listened to. So hearing him speak on Raw wasn€™t exactly a monumental moment, it was more like €œWhat the hell was that?€ type of moment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZUMQd3m9gM

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
