WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (March 29)

7. This Is WrestleMania?

Let€™s just get this one out of the way. It seems that most hardcore fans aren€™t too thrilled with WrestleMania this year. Roman Reigns isn€™t getting over as a top guy, Undertaker€™s match is about 90% less interesting without The Streak, and the one dream match in Sting vs. HHH has disturbingly high odds of being mediocre. Also, is this the least exciting tag team title match in Mania history? Last year WWE gave us a Fatal-4 way match as well (with five of the same eight men still competing in the pre-show tag match this year), but the division is even more of a wreck now. Los Matadores ran it€™s course a long time ago, and The New Day should have never made it to TV. Among other problems is the Divas title not being on the line, the Andre the Giant Battle Royal being pushed to the pre-show and Randy Orton already getting his revenge a few weeks ago, rendering the match a bit meaningless. It€™s still going to be a fun time, but due to a year of poor storytelling and lack of upward momentum from the mid-card, Mania looks poised to be a fraction as good as it should have been.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
