WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (March 6)
5. Show Beats Owens
Sometimes when I think about how badly WWE has pushed a wrestler, I go outside, lay down in my neighbors yard and start to cry until they ask me to go home. This happens most Tuesday mornings. This week it was because of Kevin Owens. When he first debuted on Raw and beat Cena cleanly, he looked to be a top, top heel in the company for years to come. For once, the company had the grapefruits to go all in on someone new. Weeks later, they got cold feet, gave John his win back, and then thought Ah, what the hell lets have lose again, just for fun! Well that was a long time ago. Its only gotten worse since then. Last week on SmackDown, The Big Show and Owens faced off for the first time ever. Owens won, because he hurt Shows crotch. Lets just end it there. Owens outsmarts The Big Show and gets ready to take on A.J. Styles at the WrestleMania in my mind. But this week on Raw, Show got his win back by hurting Owens crotch, and then having a good laugh about it. This company sucks. I could go on for days about how boring Show is (Ive probably spent months of my life doing just that to my friends and family who have never heard of him), but there was no good reason to have Owens lose to him, and then lose AGAIN to Dean Ambrose on SmackDown. Dont book the stupid match! It made KO look even weaker, because they opened the show with Dean just struggling to walk. Booking heels so pathetically is why were relying on a 46-year-old non-wrestler to carry the second biggest match at WrestleMania.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
