WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (March 6)

4. Taker Bows Down

€œYou know what Undertaker? If you don€™t fight for me, I€™m going to unleash the contents of the lockbox I have on YOU!€ -What Vince McMahon should have said to Undertaker on Raw to at least give some reason for why Taker would do what he says. Like many people, I€™m strangely excited to see Undertaker take on Shane McMahon at WrestleMania...despite just making fun of the idea on the preceding slide. It€™s too bad that no one in WWE creative could think of a single reason why Undertaker would agree to fight for Vince McMahon. How about if Undertaker doesn€™t, then Vince will release footage of Taker admitting he killed his parents 18 years ago on Raw. The Dead Man is the last of the real outlaws we€™ve been told. He€™s a man who plays by his own rules, shows up when he wants, and beats up who he wants, then goes away for a while. Last week, Vince summoned him from wherever he hangs out when he€™s not wrestling, my guess is hell, or Popeye€™s Chicken. He announced Taker would fight for him, and that was that. Taker took on Bray Wyatt, Brock Lesnar, and CM Punk because he was taunted for weeks. He takes on Shane McMahon because the boss said so. Just another example of the non-wrestlers in the company being booked as more of a threat than the wrestlers. I mean, if Taker pisses off Bray Wyatt, he only has a kidnapping to look forward too. But if he pisses off McMahon, then maybe he won€™t be able to sign a Legends Contract in a few years. From a storyline standpoint, shouldn€™t Taker have told him to f-off? What is his motivation for bowing down to Vince and doing what he says? Well, maybe this will all make sense when Taker realizes he€™d rather work for Shane anyway, and let€™s him Finger Poke of Doom him.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
