WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (May 10)

6. Spider In A Bag

All right, who in creative wanted to see Stardust and R-Truth wrestle four times on TV within a two week span? Because they are definitely the only one who did. So for some reason, this is a feud. Truth is a man who is suddenly afraid of spiders, despite the fact that before the past couple weeks, he hadn't mentioned that on TV at any point over the past 16 years. When he was K-Kwik it sure never came up. And Stardust is a man who spends his free time shopping for a bag of rubber spiders, probably while in costume. Is this interesting? No. Is this funny? No. Smells like a Vince McMahon idea. Now it would be one thing if Stardust was a guy playing off the fears of all wrestlers, and using them to his advantage in creepy, evil ways. Though once you get through heights and claustrophobia, you kind of run out of good ones. Maybe they€™ll re-enact Jake Roberts locking Ultimate Warrior in a room full of snakes, but make it more PG. Stardust finds out that Jack Swagger is afraid of cats, so he locks him in a room full of them. It would be the most interesting thing Swagger has done in months.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
