WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (May 15)

3. Snow Falls

Al Snow is doing something kind of interesting. Hes playing an aging veteran who's tired of the lack of respect from the upcoming generation. Its not exactly new, but hes doing a pretty good job with it. Plus, its also kind of nice when a promotion can admit a wrestler is older. We always had to pretend that Sting was still in his prime in TNA, despite his receding hairline leading to more facial paint than ever.

On Impact, Snow cut a bizarre, but solid promo where he claimed to be the Donald Trump of professional wrestling. He then cut another promo in the ring before his match riling up the crowd. And then he lost. He lost to Mahabali Shera, who now that Cameron has been released by WWE, holds the distinction as the worst wrestler in a national wrestling company.

So what now? Al fights Grado? Okay, well, cool, we already saw him lose. The youngsters already got one up on him. The big finale should have been Grado outsmarting and out-wrestling Snow. They just skipped a bunch of chapters, and now are adding an epilogue to it.

Sadly, this problem isnt just contained to TNA, as another company has a much bigger problem with making the wrong people do the j-o-b.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
