WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (May 15)

2. Losers Losing

One of WWEs most obnoxious booking crutches is having the champion lose leading up to their pay-per-view match. In Vinces mind, he thinks hes fooled us all into thinking that the challenger will now win the match because they already showed they can. The title is going to change hands! Reverse psychology 101. Ugh.

When the champion loses, it can occasionally lead to some excitement, but its horribly overplayed, and ends up diminishing the title. This week on Raw New Day took a loss, as did Charlotte, and the Miz. Then, the number one contender to the US Title lost too.

Okay, seriously, what was the point of Sin Cara beating Rusev? He got his win back on SmackDown, so it largely felt like a waste of time. That man needs wins, and a loss to Sin Cara will set anyone's career back two years.

There's got to be a better way to book a wrestling show!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
