1. The Asylum Match

Sometimes when I watch long, bad wrestling matches I wonder what else I could be doing with my life. Chris Jericho vs. Dean Ambrose clocked in at 26 minutes. Add in entrances, and youre sitting over half an hour. You could watch any TV sitcom during that time, or go for a walk, or maybe learn how to knit or something.

Instead, we watched Dean Ambrose beat Jericho with a mop. A mop that was on top of a cage. Why? Because DEAN IS CRAZY. Whoa, a wacky mop attack! Thats hardcore! Seriously though, you cant have a mop beating and thumbtacks in the same match. That would be like watching a Disney film where right after a musical number one of the characters is suddenly decapitated.

The crowd was clearly bored with the match, despite Jericho being a pretty great heel. How does no one in management realize that wacky Dean Ambrose is a bad character? Give him an actual edge, and stop telling us how he belongs in an asylum. Both wrestlers are pretty talented, but they should get away from each other as quickly as humanly possible, or else I might be the one put in an asylum.

Time to kick out.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
