WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (May 29)

2. Delusional Dolph

Baron Corbin Dolph Ziggler

Yes, its another feud that no longer makes any sense. Baron Corbin has defeated Dolph Ziggler twice now, both times very convincingly. Dolph wants another round, because he is mad that he got hit in the balls. But Dolph, uh, not sure if you realize this, but that was a no DQ match. So if anything, he should just be thankful that Baron didnt take a gun to the ring and force him to lie down. But even that still would have been legal.

Besides, Dolph could have picked up any weapon he wanted, or called up all his old Spirit Squad buddies to interfere, but he didnt. He lost, and its his fault. On Raw, he went face-to-face with Corbin to challenge him to another match, because apparently he really wants to be beat again so he can start wrestling exclusively on Superstars.

The biggest bonehead moment of all is Dolph told Baron to watch his match, so he could see what a real technical match looks like. AND THEN HE LOST! Since wrestling is pre-determined, Dolph, aka Nick Nemeth, knew he was about to lose. So why did he agree to deliver that line? With writing like this, is it any wonder guys like Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes are leaving this company?

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
