WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Nov 22)

5. The Lone Nut

Jesse Ventura is usually the king of professional wrestlers spouting conspiracies, but former WWE and TNA announcer Taz has unveiled a doozy of his own. On his podcast he claimed that Ronda Rousey took a dive against Holly Holm. It€™s too bad that he didn€™t take a minute to think about that in any logical way. Rousey is the biggest draw in all of MMA, she€™s becoming one of the most famous athletes in the world. She was undefeated, and threw that away so she could...I don€™t know...make more money? Or something? Taz€™s reasoning is that it made sense to take the title off the champ. If UFC was WWE, then sure. Would Dana White really put his entire company on the line to have his top draw lose? Would Ronda damage her own pride for a quick payout, instead of making more money in the long term by winning? If Taz's theory is true, then why didn't GSP do the job before his sabbatical? And, most importantly, would Taz stop being so ridiculous?

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
