WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Nov 29)

4. Nothing Matters: The Dean Edition

How did Dean Ambrose feel about losing to his friend at Survivor Series? Meh, WWE doesn€™t have time for that. But as stated in the previous slide, they did have plenty of time for not one, but TWO country music bashing segments on their show. Some fans may like what WWE is doing right now. And that's fine. But there€™s absolutely no way you can argue that it is a well written show. You have to look past many things to be entertained by the narrative. In the past, we€™ve seen Dean Ambrose come to the side of Roman Reigns, or vise versa, countless times. So why didn€™t Dean help him out at the end of the show, or during the beat down at the beginning of Raw, or the 3-on-1 attack at the end of the show? He was just in the prior segment! Now, on any other show on TV this would lead you to think €œOh, this is interesting! There must be some friction between long time pals Dean and Roman, since Dean didn€™t help his brother out. I wonder what will happen next!€ But no, this is WWE. It doesn€™t matter. It€™s called lazy writing, or disrespect for their own audience. A friend not helping another friend stave off a beating is not something to be questioned. The main question is "Why do we continue to put up with it?"

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
