WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Oct 10)

6. Another MAJOR Letdown

For the 8,753rd time, Dixie Carter teased a BIG surprise on Twitter. Maybe twice have the actual announcements lived up to the hype. But, so it goes. In recent weeks she's been poking her dwindling number of fans in the eyes for fun once more. That huge news? €œMahabali Shera, Ethan Carter III and Rebel will be going to India this month for a media tour and talent search.€ Oh, and in two weeks we€™ll get the second, bigger part of the news. Wow, that next announcement is somehow going to be bigger than Rebel going to India? And how exactly are her and Shera in any way qualified to scout talent? They are the two greenest wrestlers on the roster, and that€™s not exaggerating. That is a literal statement. It wasn€™t TNA€™s only social media screwjob this week, as The Pope had also been teasing fans leading up to Bound for Glory about a third announcer joining the team for the night. Well, that€™s a nice, little enticement to get fans buzzing. How about A.J. Styles or Christopher Daniels coming back even for a night to make their biggest show of the year a little more special? Well, that third person ended up being €œL€™il Pope.€ Yes, Pope teased himself...as a third person. Well thanks Dixie and Pope, I€™ll uh, stay tuned for the next announcement, probably something along the lines of Kurt Angle buying some new drapes.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
