3. The Lawsuit

Billy Corgan vs. Dixie Carter in a court of law was inevitable.

Despite her losing millions of dollars of her parents' money, despite Impact losing 70% of its ratings over the past six years under her watch and despite her unable to pay the men and women under her employment time and time again, she will not step aside.

I don’t know all the inner-workings of the contracts and who owns what, but it’s impossible to root for Dixie to continue running TNA. We’ve seen what she’s done with the company over the past 14 years, and there’s just no way it can continue like this. To hope she gains full control is to hope for hardworking people who are sacrificing their bodies to not get paid for their work.

Right now, she owes a lot of people a lot of money, and rumors of late are claiming there are still a lot of games being played. Hopefully this lawsuit ends all that, and she finally has to give up control. If things are going to continue as they are, they might as well just shut this entire thing down.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
