Dean has been growing more annoying by the week for about the past year now, but he’s becoming so obnoxious that he’s bringing down the rest of the show around him. The journey of James Ellsworth has been a lot of fun to watch on TV, and instead of Ambrose giving Ellsworth a rub by being associated with him, it feels like it’s the other way around.

On SmackDown, Ellsworth was getting a big chant from the crowd, the kind of chant that Ambrose wishes he still got, but his humor just tears down the feel good moment, because he's trying so hard to be so cute. Well no biggie, but then he rang the bell for 30 seconds at ringside, which quit being funny after the first half-second. Then he called for a commercial break, showed Ellsworth's shirt on the screen, tried to sell a program, told someone their lights were on, and...it was all...just...so...bad.

A guy that seemed like the next Roddy Piper is becoming the next Santino Marella and it’s painful to watch.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
