WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Sept 25)

1. This Is Not Good

Seth Rollins cage dive

Fans have loudly rejected Roman Reigns being the face of Raw for well over a year. It feels like it actually started in the Ruthless Aggression era, but I can’t be sure. For the most part, the damage caused was done to himself (and the ratings of course), but the ramifications of trying so damn hard to get us to care about him has actually spread like a disease to the rest of the roster. And it's a disease that now can’t be stopped!

WWE is also trying to get over Seth Rollins as a babyface, but without actually giving us a good reason why. Having his mom and dad Steph and Hunter kick him out of the house doesn’t really endear us to him after all. But the end of Raw saw Roman getting beaten down in a cage, and we all sat back and celebrated and high-fived one other. Then Seth had to come down and ruin the fun. It was supposed to be a face move, but he saved someone that everyone thinks is a giant douche. So it really damaged everyone in the segment!

Seth is now less cool for aligning with Roman, because no one wanted to see him saved from a vicious beating! Just turn the guy heel already and stop ruining everything WWE!

Ah, whatever, they'll never listen. Still, one can hope.

Time to kick out.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
