WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Sept 27)
4. Josh, Just Dont.
Over in WWE, we finally had an interesting event in the Divas Revolution storyline, when Paige mercifully broke up PCB and cut a promo on virtually every woman in the company. In TNA, they pretended that what they were doing was even better than that. In the past few weeks, Dollhouse member Jade was in a losing 3-on-1 match to Gail Kim, then was booked to lose again to her in a 2-on-1 cage match. This week she tried once again to defeat Kim, but in a 1-on-1 match. Isnt that going in the opposite direction? The odds are becoming more fair, when Jade couldn't even win in unfair odds! Is Jade going to fight her again next week with one arm tied behind her back? The week after that she can try again, but the stipulation is she has to keep Kim down for a 30 count. Besides the stupid booking, Josh Matthews tried to overlook this mess while taking a shot at his former employer. You say you want a revolution? How great is this match? he beamed. Literally, seconds later, Jade was pinned. This was a 4 minute and 25 second match that Josh tried to pretend was anything other than what we see on Impact every single week. The womens division in TNA hasnt been this bad in years. To pretend otherwise is a foolish venture.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
