WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Sept. 6)

4. Bram Arrested

In worst of the week, I say quite a few negative things...if you can believe it. WWE and TNA just bring it out in me. But when it came to Bram, I€™ve always been highly complimentary, thinking he was vastly underutilized and a future star. Well, this week we found out that the dude still has some serious problems. He was let go from WWE in 2012 after being charged with battery of a police officer and disorderly intoxication. In 2011 he was arrested for a DUI. Had he behaved himself he€™d still probably be in The Ascension, and they probably wouldn€™t be so mediocre. TNA picked him up, and gave him a solid push alongside Magnus. He was spoken of highly by some of the higher ups behind the scenes, and seemed poised for a larger role eventually. Not now. He€™s suspended after allegedly strangling his girlfriend, and holding her hostage. He€™s still Charlotte's husband (soon to be divorced), and you can imagine any shot of going back to WWE is absolutely over. TNA seems to not have much of a problem hiring people with recent legal trouble (Jeff Hardy, Pacman Jones), but even if the company survives, you can imagine Bram won€™t be back anytime soon. Well...at least they have other rising stars on the roster ready to take his place on the card like...um...Crazy Steve.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
