1. Snuka Busted
Well...its about time. For years Jimmy Snukas story of his girlfriends death was highly suspicious, to say the least. Writer Irvin Muchnick laid out a compelling case in 2007 in his work Wrestling Babylon, that showed quite a few discrepancies in Snukas story during the night of Nancy Argentinos death. The entire situation was horrifying and deeply sad. While theres a case to be made that Superfly should have been in prison all this time, at the very least the WWF should have distanced themselves from him as soon as possible. Instead, Vince McMahon helped him avoid any trouble with the law and kept him on payroll. Now, the entire company looks foolish, or just plain evil, for keeping him around so long. Vince McMahon went to the police station with Snuka, and helped clear his name during the initial investigation. This is despite having to know that his wrestlers story didnt quite make sense, and was constantly changing. Over the years Snukas relationship with the company continued (even after he lost a civil suit against the family) as he was brought in for multiple runs, and even as late as WrestleMania 25 received a big payday for a marquee match. To top it all off, Snuka was honored with a Hall of Fame induction. Even if the top brass didnt believe he murdered Nancy, they at least knew he beat her, which he confessed to just months prior to her death. But its been made clear repeatedly that this company wont do anything moral unless there is publicity involved forcing them to act. Time to kick out.
Andrew Soucek
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
