WWE Announces John Cena-Created WWE Evil Series For Peacock

Big Match John developing "an entertaining 'psychological exposé'" on WWE's greatest villains.

While he’s not stepped foot in a WWE ring since WrestleMania 36, John Cena is now developing a new WWE docuseries for Peacock.

As announced by WWE, Cena is creating, narrating and executive producing a show called WWE Evil – officially described as "an entertaining 'psychological exposé' into the minds of the most diabolical antagonists in WWE history, and their impact on mainstream culture”.

This announcement was followed up by Big Match John detailing how WWE has created some of the greatest villains in entertainment history, and that those rogues will be getting the spotlight here.

Basically, it sounds a little like a kayfabe Dark Side of the Ring exploring the twisted, scripted shenanigans of WWE’s most nefarious ever heels.

This news comes as part of Peacock’s week-long announcement of new shows, with one upcoming series being revealed each day of the week. At this point, WWE Evil is the only WWE show announced so far, but who knows what the rest of the week will bring.

As of this past March, Peacock became the exclusive home of the WWE Network for those in the United States. Since launching, many US fans have taken umbrage with the usability of the WWE Network and, most importantly, how so much previously available content has yet to be made accessible on the platform.
