WWE Backlash 2016: 10 Things We Learned

3. Bray Wyatt Is Still Rudderless

It's fairly obvious that Bray Wyatt was set to lose his match against Randy Orton at Backlash. If that hadn't been the case, he would have beaten Kane soundly in the No Holds Barred effort arranged in Orton's absence. Instead, he lost, admittedly largely due to Randy emerging to hit his patented RKO.

Wyatt did look vicious when he was shown attacking Orton behind the scenes, but that was all he had to shout about at Backlash. Once again, for seemingly the millionth time, he is left looking like a character who cannot back up his bold claims on the microphone. It's unclear how many times this is going to happen before WWE allow Bray to make good on his words.

Losing to someone like Kane, even with the Orton interference, does not bode well for the so-called 'Eater Of Worlds'. Proclaiming himself a God regularly, Wyatt is coming across more like a peasant struggling to lift the oppressive weight WWE's writing team keep placing on his shoulders.

He's one of the best under contract, but he's never allowed to properly fly. Backlash continued that wearying trend.
