Tye Dillinger will defeat Aiden English yet again in the third outing between the two since 'The Perfect 10' arrived on SmackDown Live! right around the time English's Vaudevillain tag team partner Simon Gotch elected to part ways with the organisation.

WWE have been careful with Dillinger since his post-WrestleMania call-up. Taking advantage of deep devotion from the audience that night, the company have since been wise not to push his first major programme to run parallel with Shinsuke Nakamura's.

Possibly learning from their mistake with Austin Aries when the two inconveniently burst through together in NXT, the gulf of separation between their positions on the show is a genuine advantage for both.

Experiencing none of that care and attention has been the multi-talented English. A return to his well-regarded NXT singing persona looked to be an instant reboot for the forgotten former tag star, but a series of defeats since then has seen him drop into a slot previously held bizarrely, by Jinder Mahal.

Symbolically, this of course implies that there is always hope for the pasty 'Drama King', but his own insta-push doesn't look likely to commence on Backlash's pre-game popcorn clash.
