2. Roman Reigns In The Main Event (Again)

There were plenty of matches from the Backlash card that deserve a good skewering, but none more so than Roman Reigns Vs. Samoa Joe. But while the match did go on about 15 minutes too long, the biggest problem is the fact that it was given the main event slot in the first place.

There were several matches on the card more worthy of this coveted position, most of all Rollins-Miz and Nakamura-Styles, yet Reigns was given the closing slot yet again.

Reigns being in every PPV main event doesn't gel with the babyface persona that WWE are desperately trying to sell.

Additionally, Reigns isn't a champion — nor is Joe — so the fact that he was given the closing slot despite the fact that there were multiple titles on the line didn't go down to well with many viewers.

It would've made much more sense to give a championship match the main event slot. Specifically Rollins Vs. The Miz.

And it wasn't just the viewers at home that are fed up of WWE constantly shoving Reigns down our throats — several members of the audience were disgruntled too.
