WWE Backlash 2018: 8 Huge Predictions You Need To Know

6. Money For Nothing

Excellent as a mouthy World Champion despite perceived limitations in the ring, Carmella has thus far been a perfect tonic to the polar opposite reign of former titleholder Charlotte.

'The Queen' was a dominant division leader in her time atop the brand, but seemed on an island to such a degree that few could get within touching distance of her. Expect the new Champion to kick off a Honky Tonk Man-style reign here, winning or at least escaping with the belt just to be done with her far superior rival as a contender.

'The Princess Of Staten Island' is not there to be the fearsome force of Asuka, beloved babyface Becky nor charismatic cult favourite Naomi. She instead offers something different as a cowardly cliché, helpfully removed from the churn of superlative workers that came up alongside Flair and her ilk. Already using her biggest weapon - her personality - to great effect on SmackDown Live!, an alliance with The IIconics should be how she makes it out of Backlash just about unscathed. A distance from Charlotte in the short-term at least will allow her to stretch out her reign - if not her credibility - at least until a new Money In The Bank briefcase holder emerges in June.
