WWE Backlash 2018: 8 Huge Predictions You Need To Know

5. Blissful Ignorance

Shinsuke Nakamura
WWE

Alexa Bliss has been an absolute riot since losing the Raw Women's Title, proving herself definitively as the best all-rounder on the red brand roster in the role as challenger even more so than when she was a terrified and over-protective Women's Champion.

What she's lacked in gold she's made up for in diamond standard insincerity, raising the ire of the newly-babyfaced titleholder Nia Jax. Dominant in her WrestleMania victory, she's not yet found her feet as the doyen of the Women's Division, and could do with a similar squash in what should be a feud-deciding rematch.

Ultimately, Jax' limitations will continue to hamper any future success on the main roster, but working regularly with the likes of Bliss (and presumably eventually Mickie James and Natalya) will hopefully refine her skills as both a monster and one of Vince McMahon's favourite tropes - the sympathetic giant. She's currently failing to impress as either, but a conclusive win here could at least light a pathway for eventual success.
