WWE Backlash 2018: 8 Huge Predictions You Need To Know

The Miz departing for SmackDown Live! seemed as much to do with creating a comical farewell with his Miztourage allies as it did for any renewed push for the 'A Lister'. Though likely to dominate back on the blue brand as he did so magnificently for Monday Night Raw last year, his first step to an eventual high profile sh*tkicking from Daniel Bryan won't be by retaining 'his' Intercontinental Title.

Seth Rollins' position on the flagship was crucially solidified by his WrestleMania Intercontinental Title win. Unable to battle for Brock Lesnar's Universal Strap until the company decide what they're actually going to do with it beyond 'The Beast', 'The Architect' has instead built himself a reputation based on respect.

The marathon man in the company's longest ever match, Rollins made further strides with the aforementioned 'Show Of Shows' victory. Whilst Miz can chase greater glories on the blue brand, Seth's status is currently too precious to drop a title both he and his brand desperately need. WrestleMania and Greatest Royal Rumble evidence suggests the two should have electric chemistry and match-of-the-night potential.
