WWE Backlash 2018: 8 Huge Predictions You Need To Know

2. Low Joe

Shinsuke Nakamura
WWE

Samoa Joe has been without compare on WWE television since missing out on WrestleMania for the second year in a row. In the content logjam of the Superstar Shake-up/Greatest Royal Rumble/Backlash overload, he somehow managed to promote about five different programmes.

Only one of those was his own, and fate has determined that he'll see no reward for his graft.

Having done such a profoundly awful job of pushing Roman Reigns, the company now need to sacrifice the 'Samoan Submission Machine' to him for the greater good. Whatever that even is at this point.

In old money, Samoa Joe is the hard-hitting babyface. He's talks sh*t and backs it up time and time again, whilst 'The Big Dog' continues to lose every fight in 'his' yard. History might lay blame for this suicidal booking at the jigging feet of Brock Lesnar, but the company's lack of contingency with their supposed top guy was destined to have these far-reaching impacts. Ironically, even in defeat it'll be Joe that recovers first - Roman is that ruined.
