WWE can't call a match "The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" and put it on in the semi-main spot.

Edge vs. Randy Orton, for better or worse, has to go on last at Backlash. It's the most hyped bout on the card, and it'd be a trifle embarrassing if they had a corker only for something like Drew McIntyre vs. Bobby Lashley to top it later. Being honest, it's gonna' be mortifying if another match even comes close in quality anyway.

Expect the announcers to dribble and drool all over the prospect of Edge vs. Orton all night. Then, they'll declare it a world class showcase of everything that's right with pro wrestling even if it's just a solid match that never really gets going. No, yours truly can't think that way any longer - he's pulling for Edge to have a classic here.

Both guys are certainly capable. Their 'Last Man Standing' effort at 'Mania was better than some on social media claimed, but WWE hasn't done them any favours by upping the pressure here and giving this such a ludicrous tagline.

Get stuck in, lads.
