WWE Backlash 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

1. WWE Announces World Title Brackets

Is it too much of a stretch to have Triple H rock out in front of a passionate Puerto Rico audience and announce exactly who will be vying to become World Heavyweight Champion? That sounds like something they'll keep back for Raw 48 hours later back in the States, but it could happen at Backlash instead.

Both Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins are shoe-ins for berths in the truncated tourney.

Come Saturday, WWE will only have three short weeks to book a tournament full of satisfying matches and have it peak at Night Of Champions on 27 May. They can't p*ss around here - get Cody, Seth and a handful of others named and primed.

Others in line for spots on those brackets include Raw draftees/stars like GUNTHER, Drew McIntyre, Shinsuke Nakamura, Finn Bálor etc. It'd make sense to get this ball rolling as soon as possible.
