WWE Battleground: 10 Predictions That Will Happen

For a while, it seemed like the WWE were finally taking Seth Rollins in the right direction by having him shed his Authority back-up and stand on his own two feet. That was quickly undone thanks to a cringe-worthy segment full of blatant product placement, but now that Lesnar has systematically destroyed his allies, Seth is going to have to go it alone at Battleground. 

Though Lesnar completely decimating the WWE World Heavyweight Champion makes sense based on what he did to the likes of John Cena and Roman Reigns, Rollins gave The Beast a real run for his money at the Royal Rumble earlier this year, and a competitive bout between the two could be a legit match of the year contender if they recapture the magic found in that Triple Threat. 

So, why will Lesnar lose? Well, it's hard to think about what anyone would gain from him winning. The WWE Championship would go back to only showing up every now and again, and all the time spent building Seth up as the future would be undone if he's quickly dealt with. Now that Brock has become a firm fan-favourite, having him cheated out of the title would be better for him in the long run, while Seth would continue to gain serious heel heat. 

The fact it's so hard to predict where these two are going to go after Battleground really does mean anything could happen, but Seth backing up his bold claims about burning down Suplex City seems like the most likely outcome, especially if these guys help him out...
