Before the WWE Draft, the match between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at Battleground was pitched as something of a war to settle the score. That all changed when it was revealed that both men had been drafted to Monday Night Raw, meaning this Sunday's pay-per-view surely won't mark their last match.

It makes sense then to have the babyface triumph, avenging the loss he suffered at Payback in May. There, it was Owens who left with his hand raised, and the outcome should be completely reversed at Battleground. Should Zayn win on this occasion, WWE could set up a 'Final Battle' (as a play on their ROH issues) for SummerSlam.

Sami's victory means both men are even in terms of pay-per-view singles matches. If Owens wins, it doesn't really leave much room for another bout. After all, what need would the heel have to prove himself if he has emerged victorious from two separate grudge matches?

A plucky babyface win is the best solution for this one, then SummerSlam can house a rubber match.
