After Battleground, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will make their way to Raw each Monday. Conversely, the leader of their group will be housed on SmackDown every Tuesday night. In other words, Battleground is the last match for a while during which AJ Styles, Gallows and Anderson will team together as a collective.

Back at Money In The Bank, Styles (with aid from other Club members) managed to defeat John Cena. At Battleground, Cena teams with Enzo Amore and Big Cass to face the faction. It'd make sense if AJ was the one to come out on top once more, because it really looks like he and Cena are headed for a rematch come SummerSlam.

There's nothing wrong with using Battleground to set up for that pay-per-view, that's why it's there. WWE may decide to have the babyfaces come out on top here, giving Styles motivation to strike back at Cena on SmackDown.

Whatever is decided, AJ must be booked to take advantage of Gallows and Anderson while they're still by his side. A familiar beat down of Cena post-match would suffice.
