If the WWE Tag-Team Titles were on the line, common sense would dictate that it'd be The New Day who would win out at Battleground. However, there are no belts up for grabs, New Day vs. The Wyatt Family is a special six-man tag-team match. This changes the recommended result.

There's been a problem with Bray Wyatt for years now in WWE. As good a character as he is, the writing team routinely let him down when push comes to the shove. Here, the opportunity exists to have him back up his words, pushing fear into The New Day's hearts and coming out on top.

Braun Strowman is set to join Raw after Battleground, whereas Bray and Erick Rowan will be on SmackDown. At SummerSlam, this could mean that Wyatt wants a crack at the tag gold by virtue of his victory beforehand.

Even if WWE do go in a different direction in regards to the Tag-Team Titles, the fact the belts aren't involved at Battleground marks a terrific chance to put someone over The New Day.
