WWE Battleground 2016: 10 Wrestling Matches We'd Rather See

1. Dolph Ziggler Vs. Heath Slater

Every pay-per-view needs a toilet break.

This is a list with a footing in reality. If that wasn't the case, we'd throw Brock Lesnar Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in without hesitation, but accordingly, a cool-down match is necessary. This is a niche the Social Outcasts are making their own. When they make an appearance on television, it is effectively guaranteed that nothing of consequence is imminent for at least ten minutes.

This match would be best served as an unscheduled affair. WWE are nothing if not on-the-nose, so the Outcasts dressing up as past presidents in the nation's capital is a realistic prospect, as is risible dialogue about their being just as cherished in the hearts of every American, or some such b*llocks.

This would bring out a popular face for the inevitable squash match win. While Ziggler is arguably too good to be associated with Heath Slater's merry band of jobbers, he's already wrestled almost every other man on the card extensively - and is a much more palatable option than the Golden Truth, who'd be best suited promoting whichever product is sponsoring the event in one of those lame backstage segments.
