WWE Battleground: 9 Match Predictions After Money In The Bank
4. Prime Time Players vs New Day
The tag titles changing hands at MITB was a pretty big shock, considering how hot The New Day were as heels. It felt way too premature for their tenure with the belts to have come to an end, regardless of how right WWE are to push Titus O Neil after his recent Celebrity Dad of the Year PR win for the company. The announcers span the story that, with Kofi Kingston still recouping from the ladder match earlier in the night, The New Day didn't have their precious 3-man advantage at MITB. Even though there are two other potential heel teams for the Prime Time Players to face - the Ascension and Harper & Rowan - The New Day have a rematch clause to enact and, considering how over they are as heels, it would be foolish not to book it for Battleground and actually craft a tag-team feud for once, using the rare 5 weeks available. Despite the Prime Time Players only just winning the gold, The New Day should pick up the victory at Battleground, reuniting as a three and using the numbers advantage to pick up the win. They're just too entertaining as champs to have them constantly chasing the gold.
