WWE Black Wednesday Releases 2020 - Where Are They Now? (One Year Later)

14. EC3

EC3 To AEW

EC3 has tread one of the more unique paths on this list since last April.

He began working his Essential Character/Control Your Narrative gimmick as soon as he was released, using social media to great effect, releasing seemingly self-produced content on the world. This built hype for his next big step, though EC3 is yet to truly hammer anything down.

A return to IMPACT Wrestling last July ended with a cinematic match against Moose. EC3 didn't stick around after that, but showed up in Ring of Honor in October... only to disappear again.

Now, EC3 is back in ROH, having seemingly picked the Sinclair-helmed group as his permanent home. Wrestling Jay Briscoe in his return bout, it'll be interesting to see how EC3's run there unfolds.
