WWE Brand Split 2016: 10 Wrestlers Who Must Stay In NXT

1. Asuka

Asuka, much like The Revival, is a cornerstone within a growing title division in NXT, and while there’s a great case to be made for her immediate call-up, she should stick around and rebuild the post-Becky, Sasha, and Charlotte NXT women's’ division.

Assuming Bayley, Nia Jax, and Alexa Bliss are bound for the main roster, that leaves only Carmella and unestablished wrestlers like Liv Morgan and Peyton Royce for competition. If this particularly division is raided, it can’t afford to lose its brightest light.

Asuka, like Bayley, might already be wrestling on Raw right now if the circumstances were different. She brings a real “big match feel” and sense of importance to her title defences, and though her English isn’t perfect, she emotes perfectly and carries herself with her great presence.

Asuka cannot afford to hit the main roster until those around her are built up to compensate for the loss, and that’s gonna take some time.
