WWE: Why Brie Bella Should Take Stephanie McMahon Down At WrestleMania 30

The Aftermatch Of A WrestleMania Encounter Between Brie & Stephanie

wwe divas4. Brie Bella Vs. Stephanie McMahon ... One-On-One Naturally, Stephanie McMahon is not going to handle the idea of being humiliated by Brie Bella with grace and humility. If there is one thing that Stephanie has proven, it's that she's just as volatile, explosive, and vindictive as her father, Vince. When Stephanie felt slighted or treated poorly by the likes of Trish Stratus and Sable, she met them in the ring (she defeated Trish at No Way Out 2001 and was defeated by Sable at Vengeance 2003). Despite not being known for her physicality in the ring, Stephanie put on a memorable performance (especially with an equally-as-green Trish) and could easily do the same with Brie! 3. The Legitimization Of Brie Bella Trish Stratus and Lita were breathtakingly gorgeous, eye-catching Divas as soon as they debuted. However, Stephanie, like her father Vince did for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, really helped raise their profiles by stepping into the ring with them and allowing herself to be beaten silly, made a mockery of, and suffering embarrassment at the hands of her rivals. She wasn't afraid to look weak or to come out on the losing end of a feud all for the sake of legitimizing someone ... and that's what Brie Bella needs the most. It's obvious that WWE is high on the Bella Twins, why else would they be pushed so hard and made leading ladies on their own hit reality show? The problem is, while Total Divas has a huge number of fans, the wrestling fans who don't follow their reality TV exploits need a reason to get behind them in the ring. Stephanie McMahon could be that reason and really help give Brie that extra push she needs to become a legitimate leader in the Divas' Division. 2. Everything On The Line, Everything At Risk When Daniel Bryan was being harassed by The Wyatt Family, why didn't they gain a psychological advantage over him by going after his fiance? If this had taken place during the Attitude Era, Brie would've been kidnapped and forced to marry Bray or brainwashed into joining the family ... if Orton and Bryan's feud had taken place during the Ruthless Aggression Era, Bria most likely would've eaten an RKO to up the ante and make the rivalry that much more personal! The relationship between Bryan and Brie has been made public and even referenced on RAW and SmackDown!, why has so much potential for good storyline opportunities to be wasted? After an altercation between Stephanie and Brie at WrestleMania, that can be rectified with The Authority having Brie in their crosshairs in an effort to get under Bryan's skin and take the feud to a new level without it getting stale. The possibilities for Brie's involvement in this storyline could involve Nikki Bella begging for John Cena's assistance, or even Natalya having her husband Tyson Kidd aid Bryan against The Authority as well. Kane could tease Chokeslamming Brie and it could even lead to further breakdown among The Shield as Roman Reigns doesn't agree with harassing or intimidating Brie just to cater to Stephanie's ego. Let's also not forget that we could see Mixed Tag Team Matches involving Stephanie and Brie as well, something Stephanie did quite often during her feud with Lita. 1. More Opportunities For All The Divas WWE is still staunchly against man-on-woman violence, with some exceptions being when Beth Phoenix entered the Royal Rumble or when The Big Show accidentally trampled over AJ Lee at ringside. With that being said, Stephanie would, like her father, probably employ muscle in the Divas' Division to take care of Brie for her instead of having to get her hands dirty. Enter Tamina Snuka, who could turn against AJ to work for Stephanie (there is no love lost between Stephanie and AJ, so this would make sense) and go after Brie. Or, what about Natalya Neidhart? On Total Divas, it's been revealed that Natalya and Stephanie share a bond and a friendship since they are women who have grown up in the wrestling business. Could the WWE Universe see a heel turn from Nattie, who gets manipulated into being Stephanie's lackey because of their close friendship and promises of becoming a two-time Divas Champion? That would make for some interesting drama and a fresh feud. Even more unsettling is the idea that Stephanie could also get Nikki Bella to turn against her twin sister. While Nikki and Brie have briefly feuded in the past, the fans never could tell them apart, making it difficult for them to root for one Diva over the other. To the WWE Universe, the Bella's not only shared the same appearance, they shared the same personality as well. Thanks to Total Divas, it's much easier to tell both beauties apart and would be much easier to cheer for Brie against a heel Nikki, who, in storyline, can feel bitter about the fact that Brie's "overshadowed her" on Total Divas. If not turned against her twin sister, Nikki could easily become a target of Stephanie as well too, in a direct attempt to get under Brie's skin. A fourth possibility is the injection of AJ Lee into a feud involving Stephanie and Brie. And really, AJ could be the massive wildcard no one can rely on as she is not fond of Stephanie and has been harshly outspoken against the women of Total Divas; she also has romantic history with Daniel Bryan, which could lead to an interesting dynamic between her and Brie, and may even lead to a brief alliance between Stephanie and AJ as the former reminds AJ about how Bryan broke her heart. Already wildly popular despite her heel tactics and character, AJ shouldn't really be involved as she should be used to help legitimize someone else in a storyline running parallel to one such as this. But if that's not the case, as WWE doesn't seem to have the creative tendency to run two simultaneous Diva-centric storylines, AJ would be a lovely choice to involve as well. The fifth option, of course, could be Stephanie trying vehemently to find someone to eradicate Brie for her. Natalya refuses. Nikki refuses (or could pull a Daniel Wyatt and immediately turn against Stephanie in order to further infuriate the desperate Stephanie). Naomi and Cameron refuse. Perhaps even Tamina refuses out of loyalty to AJ, who dislikes Stephanie so damn much. What does one do when faced with a Diva? Simple. You employ the services of ... an anti-Diva. Enter NXT Women's Champion, Paige! The WWE Universe has eagerly been awaiting the arrival of NXT's most-talked about Diva and what better way to debut the future of the Divas' Division than by putting the Stephanie McMahon character behind her? With Summer Rae and Emma already on the main roster, it makes perfect sense to have Paige come in as Stephanie's equalizer; not only would the Stephanie feud legitimize Brie, it would help Paige's character make an impact and provide other limitless opportunities for the rest of the division, possibly marking the return of another "Golden Era" among the Divas.
