For well over a year, The New Day have been WWE Tag-Team Champions. There's a reason for that, the creative team haven't been given a genuinely solid reason for removing the belts from the trio. Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston are the most popular babyface unit on Raw, with perhaps only Enzo Amore and Big Cass challenging that fact.

Credit must go to everyone involved in the opening match at Clash Of Champions, because it didn't seem likely before the event that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson would leave as the new WWE Tag-Team Champions. In the end, they didn't, but the encounter was better than expected.

New Day remain on a roll, and it's difficult to see exactly who will topple them from the top of the Raw tag-team mountain. As aforementioned, maybe Enzo and Cass are the answer, but there are few heel tandems that appear like legitimately advisable successors to The New Day.

Their victory at Clash Of Champions was greeted with huge cheers from the live audience, fans still can't get enough of the goofy group.
