It seemed like destiny that Cesaro would complete his big comeback and win the 'Best Of 7 Series' with Sheamus by a score of 4-3. As it turned out, WWE elected against providing a straight up conclusion to the series at Clash Of Champions. The final match between both men was instead waved off by the official due to storyline injuries.

Tumbling over the security barricade around ringside, Sheamus and Cesaro traded some seriously stiff blows during the 16-minute clash. There was understandable frustration from fans when the referee called for a no contest, because everyone wanted a more satisfying finish than none at all.

Even so, this provided Cesaro with the chance to show some fighting spirit. The Swiss was able to look mighty peeved by the referee stopping his match, and he told the official that he was willing to fight with just one arm.

It was dramatic to see the camera swoop in close to Cesaro and the ref, catching a discussion as the wrestler explained that he had fought under such circumstances before. Little touches like this one can really add colour to the show.
