WWE Clash Of Champions 2016: 10 Awesome Moments

5. Sami Zayn's Selling Of The Codebreaker

Before Clash Of Champions, it also seemed a given that Sami Zayn would beat Chris Jericho on the pay-per-view. Not only does the veteran not really require wins to remain over, Sami badly needed a big victory to boast about on television. Therefore, it was interesting to see WWE go with Jericho instead of Zayn.

It was a Codebreaker from Y2J that bagged the win, a move that can sometimes look a little unrealistic. Some wrestlers jump into the move, making it look like they've hardly been touched by the point of Jericho's knees at all. The Codebreaker looks so much better when performed the way Sami Zayn did it.

Looking like he was caught off guard by the finishing move, Zayn sprawled his arms out to the side and came down hard with Jericho. As his opponent landed safely on his back, it seemed like Sami's entire face and jaw had smashed awkwardly into Jericho's legs.

Zayn's selling helped the move no end, it looked like he had no chance of kicking out. That's precisely how a match-ending move should look.
