On the subject of interference, Chris Jericho was used liberally at Clash Of Champions during the show's WWE Universal Title main event. For the past few months, Jericho has been teaming with his fellow Canadian Kevin Owens on Monday Night Raw, so it made sense that he'd want to protect his pal's Universal Title reign.

The announcers made sure to point out that Owens doesn't necessarily need the help, but that he would never turn it down if it meant he could win a match. If nothing else, the fact Jericho was so heavily involved in the final few moments of the bout gives Seth Rollins an excuse.

It wasn't only Jericho who he can point fingers at, Stephanie McMahon was the one who brought out that second official once the first had been knocked down. That was Seth's downfall, this fresh referee counted the match-ending pin.

In essence, Rollins had been screwed by Jericho and McMahon in one fell swoop. This protects him, but also doesn't hurt the idea that Owens is an opportunistic heel who is being hand-picked by powerful authority figures as champion.
