5. CM Punk vs The Undertaker - Wrestlemania 29
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sX0OclttFkc Wrestlemania 29 saw the Undertaker once again steal the show in a match that saw the Streak continue for yet another year. The match that he and CM Punk put on was head and shoulders above any other match on what turned out to be a pretty disappointing Wrestlemania Card. The angle leading up to the match was personal and controversial with CM Punk using the death of the Undertaker' former manager Paul Bearer to generate heat for the match in a way that other superstars would simply not have been able to accomplish. The match itself exemplified why both men are masters of their craft. Despite the Undertaker and CM Punk being far from peak condition, they managed to put on a match that actually made both competitors look incredibly strong. Highlights included CM Punk mocking the Undertaker by stealing his Old School signature move- the first time that had actually successfully been done in the Deadman's storied career, CM Punk hitting Undertaker on the table with the Macho Man Elbow and the series of counters that eventually led to the last Tombstone that put the Straight Edged Superstar away. It would be wrong to say that Punk nursed Undertaker through the match- as the Undertkaer went on to have two great matches with the Shield on the WWE's English tour. But in Punk, the Undertaker had a heel opponent that was both a viable threat to the Streak and a change of pace from the babyfaces he had faced in 5 out of the 6 Wrestlemanias previous to that. A great match that (partly) saved Wrestlemania 29.
