4. CM Punk vs Chris Jericho - Chicago Street Fight - WWE Championship - Extreme Rules 2012
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvplRygyQP4 Rewind one year before the Punk/Undertaker feud and it was Punk's opponent who was making the feud personal while Punk was the babyface. Chris Jericho had returned to the WWE in 2012 with one goal in mind- to remind everyone why he was the Best in the World by winning the WWE Championship and putting pretenders like CM Punk in their place. To this end he embarked on a massive character assassination campaign of the WWE Champion, calling him an illegitimate child, the son of an alcoholic and the brother to a drug-addicted sister. Their Wrestlemania 28 match was very good, but was overshadowed somewhat by being in between the epic that was the End of an Era and the spectacle (if nothing else) of John Cena vs the Rock. Their Extreme Rules match on the other hand was not only allowed the space to show the hatred that the two had for each other, it also had the advantage of being held in Punk's hometown of Chicago which made for an amazing atmosphere as the two tore up the ring with a dizzying array of different manoeuvres as well as weapons. Jericho managed to expertly bait the crowd by pouring beer all over CM Punk, mocking him mercilessly while CM Punk managed to get out of the Walls of Jericho by spraying Jericho in the face with a fire hydrant. The two men have shown their fantastic ring chemistry once again in another great match at Payback in 2013, but this match was the pinnacle. What would one expect though from possibly the two greatest all round wrestlers of their generations.
